Saskatoon: There Is No Place Like Saskatoon For Holidays

On our trip to Canada, Saskatoon was on our list for a short 3-day visit. Right from great scenic view from the flight, we fell in love with the place. For our sightseeing tour, we opted for fairy door tours who also offer the eco-tour package for wildlife lovers.

Places to visit

We stayed at the Sandman hotel which we not only had good amenities, but also close proximity to the city center. The “per day room cost” to us around INR 10000 including everything on prior online booking. We started with museum antiquities followed by a visit to Musee Ukraine, which is another specialty museum. We had a late lunch at Prairie Sun Brewery and Cafe. Next day morning started with going to the strawberry ranch and pumpkin farms. We just had a delightful walk around the Saskatchewan River. We later took a balloon ride. Being an autumn season, it was so beautiful to see the leaves falling. We bought gifts for loved ones back home from the woodcrafts. You can buy some triple milled shaving soaps from the have valet.

We loved watching the wildlife at the Saskatoon Forestry farm and zoo.  We agreed to an amazing escape challenge in the escape city. We caught a tragic play at the Broadway theatres. The architecture of the third avenue united church and St. John’s Anglican cathedral worth seeing. Do take a walk on the Keewatin trail with the Vimy memorial at a little distance. We saw ducks at the Broadway Bridge in foreground. Pastries and cold coffee at the little bird patisserie and cafe are a must try.

You will be amazed by the beautiful white interiors of the University of Saskatoon. We clicked a lot of pictures around the building of the department of computer science with trees shedding leaves. We took our daughter for a go-kart ride at the Kattrack go-kart.
